My Gym

We went to a birthday party at My Gym for M's friend Evelyn last weekend. It was a blast!  Both kids loved it and we'll be going back. (and maybe having Louis' next party there)

If Louis could imagine his own heaven... I think this would be it!

I wish these pictures were better. They both road this little car and were thrilled!

Texting

Marlo picked up my phone and said "I'm going to text Ivy's mom and tell her she can come to my 5th birthday"
A few minutes later I walked over to her and asked "how's it going"
She showed me this screen and said "Maybe we should just call her"

This land is our land...

We are land owners. Here's some pictures from our new favorite spot.

This is a 5 minute walk (on a bike trail) from our future front door.

The new playground at Roy G Guerrero Colorado River Metropolitan Park (5 minute walk from  our future front door).

Here's the spot.  If you look really hard, past the powerlines, that's downtown Austin! We are 5 miles by bike path to the congress bridge. We explored lots of trails last week and discovered that not only are we connected to the Lady Bird Lake trail system but also a couple other trail systems in the park.  Yay!

Hoolahoopin'

Here's Marlo hoopin' at Maker Faire.
She worked on it for quite a while to get to this point. I think the hardest part is just getting the hoop positioned on her back.



I didn't notice when I was taking the video but I love that the little boy on the left of the screen is having the same challenge with the hoop.  They look like they are about the same age.

Facetime!

I love Facetime! I was in Pittsburgh for 5 days last week and facetime made it all ok!
